MY HOST CAN CONNECT TO NAT mode

Hi,
In my pc im using VMware workstation 16 pro,
i create a virtual machine with Ubuntu Server 20.04 in it.
i’m always using the NAT network to connect to the internet and host-only to connect to this server with SSH using my OS.
in the NAT mode you can just access to the internet but no one can access to you from outside even with my OS i can’t connect to the VM using SSH cause NAT isolate the VM from the host.
But yesterday when i tried to connect my host to the VM in NAT mode only using SSH It worked.
did you guys change the NAT mode configuration in VMware workstation 16 pro version ?
cause this will cause so much security problems.
the NAT should just used to connect to the internet and block all access from the outside.
i dont know why i can access to the VM from my host using SSH it shouldn’t happen in the NAT mode.
in the VMware workstation 14 proit was like that.
