Guys,
Trying to upgrade a user from 10.0.3, to 10.0.4 but we receive the attached error.
A lot of times from work we have to kill the FireSvc.exe service (Mcaffee) to be able to install new versions of Workstation. This usually works, but not today.
I have done what VMWare recommends. Delete the TEMP folder, use the Microsoft Auto fix-it tool. VMware workstation doesn't show up in add/remove programs now, but 10.0.3 will launch successfully.
I have tried running the 10.0.3 installer and choosing repair and I get the same, attached error.
When I launch 10.0.4 installer, it starts up, then it gives me one choice "Uninstall", which I select and we get the attached error.
Can you all advise before we have to rebuild this machine?
