MAC address of virtual machine in bridged mode?

I have a Asus RT-N13U router, and I have a RHEL 6 virtual machine in bridged networking mode.

I want to setup a web server on the vm, and I have set it up successfully on my host.

But my router doesnt detect the mac address of the vm, which is required for giving a static internal ip to the vm, and in turn, allowing port forwarding from my external ip.

The mac address given in the network adapter advanced settings tab, 00:0C:29:24:57:BB, isnt listed on any of the clients connected to my router.

I have a Dell Inspiron N5010 and that IS the HOST. It is connected to my router via wifi.

The internal ip of my virtual machine, which is 192.168.1.4, shows the mac address 00C610879A1E, rather than 000C292457BB, as shown by vmware.

Help me please!

Btw, I am using vmware workstation 8!
