Lost copy/paste functionality between Windows 11 host and guests.

As of about a week ago, I lost full ability to copy and paste between my windows 11 host to my Linux Debian (Kali) host. I have removed open-vm-tools-desktop and purged, and reinstalled it several times. I have disabled in the VM settings rebooted and brought it back up and re-enabled it. Nothing I have seen in other forums has been able to fix it.

Does anyone have any additional options? I lost it pretty much after a Windows 11 update.

For anyone else running into this issue. Mine turned out because I run KDE desktop and when it updated it, KDE changed how systemd auto runs stuff. You can fix it by running the command `vmware-user-suid-wrapper`

After running that command everything started working for me again.
