Linux Installation Freezing on VMWare Workstation 17

Hello again

I solved the problem whereby I couldn't load in Linux. However, it is now freezing when I try and install it from the CD file. It is stuck on "Copying files" with the blue slider about 20% of the way through, and it isn't moving. It's been this way for about 45 minutes.

If anyone knows the fix to this, please reply.

Thanks!

How much memory is allocated to the VM where you want to install Linux?

What linux distro are you installing? and what is the workstation version you are using, and on what operating system?

I'm installing Linux Mint Cinnamon 21.2 on VMWare Workstation 17. My main PC's OS is Windows but I'm obviously not overwriting that with the Linux.
