Launching Workstation 9 Freezes, can't repair

I've been using Workstation 9 for a couple months and this morning when I launched it nothing happened. In task manager I can see the vmware.exe *32 process which goes to about 4 percent CPU utilization for half a second then back to zero and the application never launches. I tried to run the repair by launching the install file and the splash screen comes up and it says "Now Loading" at the bottom. The process is running with 0% CPU and I left it overnight and it was at the same point in the morning. I checked the event logs but didn't see anything for VMWare or any new entries at the time it is launched. I closed all my apps and rebooted to start fresh but the same thing is happening.

Try running VMware as administrator.  This may not help but it worth a try.  Let us know if that works.

Tried it under Adminitrator but got the same thing. I'll try booting under a different profile and see if it is a profile issue. I'll report back after that.
