Laptop in battery mode - "cannot find a valid process to connect to"

Hello All,

I've bought a new laptop Asus transformer book TX300 " ASUS Transformer Book TX300 - Notebooks & Ultrabooks - ASUS "and installed a trial of the workstation 9.02 to run 1 or 2 XP VM with old programs.

Everything worked great until I disconnected the AC power cord, I couldn't start any more VMs, always get the "cannot find a valid process to connect to" and no logs generated!

Could that be caused by some hardware drivers (chipset or CPU) since when in battery mode the configs are not the same!?

I reinstalled workstation 2-3 times and no luck.

With the power cord plugged in it works ok!!!

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

After several hours looking for a solution I found out the problem... it was the "power4gear hybrid" power management that changed some settings!

In full power it works, like connect to the AC power.
