I accidently updated to the latest Windows 11 software last night and when I opened my Kali Linux VMware machine today, and I am able to log in, but it only shows a kali linux background.. Since my last backup was a month ago, I would like to recover my folders at least. Is there anyway to fix the corrupted vmware file? i have not set up a root login, although that has worked before..
