Hi,

I don't think so.
However you might get what you are after by using vmware-kvm.exe.

You can find that in the binary folder of VMware.

eg. C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation

Pass it the .vmx file of the VM you want to start with with the full path of the VM, enclosed in quotes.

eg.

C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation\vmware-kvm.exe "C:\myVM\myVM.vmx"

Thanks.

I tested it, but it starts guest in fullscreen instead of window mode. OK.

Hi,

Sorry I have no other ideas. There are no options to run in windowed mode when using vmware-kvm, nor am I aware of any options - command line or config.ini - to "Hide Controls" for Workstation itself.
