Isolated network

Hi,

I have made a copy of my virtual machines from ESXi because I want to test something out. Regarding to less space on the ESXi I copied the machines to my local computer and installed the evaluation version of VMWare Workstation. Now I would like to run these copied machines on my computer without disturbing my active machines.

Which network setting should I set up to ensure this situation? The copied machines should be able to see each other, but not the active running machines on the ESXi. So how to isolate them?

thanks in advance for your help

Andy

Hi Andy,

You should use Host-only networking. It will make sure your test machines are isolated and do not talk to active machines.
