Is Hyper-V in Hyper-V mode possible?

I have a Lenovo laptop with virtualization and VT-d enabled in BIOS.

I am running Windows 10 20H2 with WSL2 and Defender Application Guard as the host OS.

I am running Workstation Pro 16.1.1.

I have Windows 10 20H2 guests set to Hyper-V and they prompt that VT-d is not available but they otherwise run after I click yes.

Can I get to a place where I could run Windows components that need virtualization in the guests given the above setup.

Hi,

If you have Hyper-V enabled at host level then you cannot do any nesting at the VM level.
So to answer your question.
No, you can't run Hyper-V guests on your Hyper-V host using VMware Workstation.
