Internet connection refused

Hello

I have got workstation 6.5 running on Windows 7. I've installed kbuntu, everything is running except for the Internet. Whenever I go to any pages it says that the connection is refused. I've looked at the windows 7 firewall settings and it shouldn't be blocking vmware...

I'm using NAT, so i'm wondering why I can't connect?

Welcome to the forums!

Sure? Disable it and try again to be sure.

Can you ping the website you try to open?

Not a solution but a small trick to resolve.

Windows 7 / 2008 server:-

Enable the ICS on your physical lan card and provide same ip as your VM box gateway ip like:- 10.10.10.1 and also map the NAT enabled VM lan card during ICS.

This works fine for same as in XP... but truth is that its not the solution..
