Internet Connection

Hi there,

I have tried a few experiment.

For guest machine with DHCP internet.

On VM:

If I set auto-bridging, there will be internet access.

For guest machine with static IP Internet.

I have to set NAT to get internet. Auto Bridging should be disabled.

True or not.

Because I have already tried on the Windows based machine

I type ncpa.cpl to go to network adapter.

I currently have

VMnet (0) Bridge

VMnet (1) Host Only

VmNet (8) NAT (with a static IP address)

If VMnet(0) I right click and disabled.

VMnet (8) will show internet internet.

However, if I enabled VMNet (0) Bridge again.

The internet on VMnet (8) will show no internet connection.
