Hi all,
I have a need to run multiple VM's talking to each other via a router. Each Vm would have a IP address on differnet subnets, probably using "A private virtual network" option. I need to put something in the middle of that which can be assigned IP address's from each subnet etc and perform routing. Does that make sense?
I want to do the same thing. I want to route between Isolated Virtual networks. For example, 2 domian controllers on different subnets, one on VMNET2 and the other on VMNET3 and have them talk to each other.

Many use a small Linux VM with multiple interfaces. Try here and search for "m0n0wall", or simply "router", and there are several hits. http://www.vmware.com/vmtn/appliances/directory/
I've seen people use Windows VMs running RRAS for the same function.
RRAS..... never even thought of that. Back to reading the threads!
Thanks for your suggestion on m0n0wall. I'll read about it. I downloaded IPCOP but it doesn't provide the functionality I want.
Thanks to this thread.
I've tried m0n0wall and it's great. It does all I want and its forum is very helpful.
