I have run into some issues installing VMware tools on VM in Workstation 14. The VMs are running Windows 10x64 and run fine, up until the point I install VM tools. At that point the system is pretty much locked up. There is probably a 5 time in between clicking a mouse and a key before there is any response from the VM. I have recently upgraded from VM and I wonder if the Tools drivers did not get upgraded. So far the VMs are tool unresponsive to allow me to try to run an upgrade for the VMtools. Restarting does not help.
I have tried to pull the 14.1.1 update for Workstation but it returns an error CDS_BULLETIN_WRONG_SIZE. I also tried to download 10.1 version of VM Tools but you cannot extract the files. It locks up winzip.
Has anyone had any problems with VM tools on workstation 14 and is there a fix?
