I have VMWare Workstation 8.X and the host OS is Windows 7 with 64 bit enabled for guest OS. I downloaded “Oracle Linux 6.2 – 64 bit” and when I try to create a new VM using “Oracle Enterprise Linux 64 bit option” from the VMWare workstation dropdown, the Oracle Linux 6.2 boots but the installation error’s out with an error stating “Fetal error unable to load libstdc++ or something like that”
My question is – has anyone encountered this error before and has anyone successfully installed Oracle Linux 6.2 in VMWare Workstation 8.X before. NOTE: I was able to get past the display issue by setting my screen resolution to 1024 by 768
