Hello,
I'm using an Ubuntu 9.04 VM with many successive releases of VMWare workstation on PC and Fusion on a Mac and I have the same problem on both. Sometimes when some of my (X Window) applications crash, I get an infinite number of "newlines" at prompt in my terminal, as well as in any other window that receives the focus. This does not happen on "regular" Linux boxes.
Do you have any idea about that?
This is a productivity-killing problem and did not find any post about that. Maybe my search was wrong, and I apologize if it was.
