Import a linux web server

Hello,

Is it possible to import a linux based web server over the web (I have admin SSH access to the server) ?

Hi,

AFAIK this isn't possible.

One of the recommended ways to import a linux web server is using the vmware converter 4.01 tool. If you use this tool, i would recommend you check this post.

Ok, thanks, I was afraid it might be the case.

The server is already in a virtual box, I'll have to try and get the hosting company to give me a copy of the VB files.

I'll keep the question open in case someone has an idea.
