How/where to submit suggestions?

I'm a software developer and I use Workstation to simulate development and testing environments for different customers. It isn't uncommon for me to have several VMs open and active at a time.

I think it would be really nice to see the current operating state (stop, pause, run, boot) of each open VM as an icon in the Window menu, using the same icons as the toolbar.

That would provide clear and instant feedback on which VMs are in use. This would have been helpful yesterday when I thought I'd paused all my open VMs and went to close workstation only to be informed that at least one VM was still running. Since I wanted to ensure that I hadn't forgotten to save anything, I needed to look at every one of the VMs I'd used to find the open one. With my suggestion, I would only have opened the running VM.

If the VMWare developers are reading this, just let me know I've been heard and I'll go away. Otherwise, can anyone tell me the correct way to submit this idea to VMWare?

Thanks!

I think that the right place could be:

Thanks, that looks like the right place... but...

I cannot find any way to post a new message there and I don't know how to get permission to do so. I looked under my account settings, but nothing looked like a place where I could join particular forum areas or anything.

I figured it out, sorry. I just needed to go one level deeper into the suggestion forum in order to post. Thanks again!
