How to reduce space disk for a REDHAT VM installed on VM Workstation PRO on Windows 10.

Hello,

First Happy New Year to all of you.

I have already posted a request for reducing space disk for a Windows VM and was very successful.

Now, I have the same request for a second REDHAT VM  installed on my Windows 10 and workstation PRO. Looks like that the space is growing too much as far I can see tha trough Windows Explorator.

Hope you can help and support.
Thanks in advance

What steps have you already followed compared to your previous thread? https://communities.vmware.com/t5/VMware-Workstation-Pro/VMWorkstation-15-WIndows-2016-VM-storage-is...

Hello,

I am back to you because the REDHAT VM is  growing very fast and now I fear to have disk space problems.

Could you please help and support me during this subject as you did it for the Windows VM.

As I answered previoulsy I try to start solving this problem so no actions at this point.

I checked the start point from my last post on Windows VM , for example based on filelist, so I attach to this message the filelist resulting from command dir *.*...

I really need some help and advices

Thanks in advance and hope receiving answers from you.

Hello,

I again back here because I really some help on reducing the space disk on my Laptop running on Windows10 where I have 5 VM machines under Workstaiton 15 PRO. Actually the folder VMWARE is about 270 G°.

Last time the answer was for one machine and indeed we succeed to reduce the space disk.

But when I read again the answer and recommandations I am lost and fear to make errors.

Hope you can help in my action and I thank you.
