How to map Alt Right + W to get "?" in VMWare Workstation 16?

Hi All,

Need some help here.

I got the idea about keyboard mapping.

But how to map a key combination for a regular ASCII code?

I am using a Samsung Expert notebook. My "question mark key (?)" is mapped in a combination:

Right ALT + W = ?

I didn´t realized how to map a key combination to get a single ascii code.

Has anyone faced a similar situation?

Regards,
Lorenzo.

If you set the same keyboard layout, as you use on the host, inside the guest, the keys should work the same. Which keyboard layout do you use on the host?

Did you set the same keyboard layout in the guest? I use Slovenian layout, where AltGr+W is |, and as long as I have Slovenian layout selected in the guest, AltGr+W will produce | inside the guest.

Yes... I already verified everything in KEYBR2, COUNTRY, ANSI.... everything is correct configured, as worked 20 years ago.

No idea how to proceed now...
