How to enabled promiscuous mode on Lan Segment on w9 on Ubuntu 12.04 ?

Hi,

I try to use wireshark on an xp vm to capture the trafic between two other vms but in Ubuntu 12.04 i have a warninig.

Can someone help me ?

why doesn't that help ?

do you start the VMs as root ?
just curious - why do you use LAN segments and not vmnets ?
