How to disable Clipboard Sharing on the fly

System:

Host: Windows 10

Guest: Ubuntu 18.04 (with VMwareTools-10.2.5-8068393)

For security reasons, I want to isolate a guest system after it has started.

The reason why I need Clipboard Sharing after I start up the guest is that I have to to copy & paste some passwords (20 digits) from the host to the guest. The passwords shouldn't be stored on the guest, so I have them outside in a Password Safe and need the Clipboard Sharing when the systems boot up enter the passwords. After I have entered these passwords I would like to disable the clipboard sharing for that guest, because it will have sensitive items in the clipboard that should not be accessible from the host.

Is it possible to disable clipboard sharing on the fly? The menu items in the -> Settings -> Options are greyed out after the machine started. I also have not found any documentation how to disable this via VmwareTools.
