How to attach internal web-cam?

I am using Workstation Pro 12 and and I have installed OS X EL Capitan.

Everything is working fine but I am not able to connect webcam for FaceTime.

Please Help.

It is a violation of Apple's licensing to run Apple OS guests on non-Apple hardware.  We cannot help you here, or VMware could get in legal trouble.

I can tell you that a laptop's built-in webcam DOES work in Windows guests on a Windows host - I replied a few weeks ago (in either the Workstation or Player forum) with screenshots of how to do it.

All you *should* need to do is right-click the camera icon in the top status bar of the Workstation and select "Connect (Disconnect from host)".  This will attach the webcam to the guest.  If the guest OS has device drivers for the webcam it should just work.
