How do you disable the mouse completely in a VM?

I am expreimenting with a VM that should not have a mouse, so how do you remove the mouse completely?

I am using VMWare Workstation Pro 16.0.0 with my host OS being Windows 10 v1909.

Go into the guest OS and disable or remove the device drivers.  If you remove them, you'd be well served by first figuring-out how to restore them if needed.

@Winins

The same as you would on a physical system running Windows?

Hi,

There is no "removing the mouse completely" AFAIK.

I think we are missing the reason why you want to remove the mouse from the guest. We also don't know what kind of guest OS you are trying to run.

Maybe this helps:
