How do I sysnc. date and time on a Linux guest O/S to a host Windows 10 Pro ?

ME - rookie Unix user

MY HARDWARE

- DELL - 64 bit
- INTEL PROCESSOR - 2 GHz
- MEMORY - 6GB
- C DRIVE - 446 GB - AVAILABLE  - 317 UNUSED

MY ENV.

- Win 10 Pro - 64 bit
- SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 - 64 bit - guest
- Workstation 6.5-7.x
- one VM machine defined

I've run this -

vmware-toolbox-cmd timesync status

Received this

enabled

I normally exit my VM machine in a 'suspend' status and from the info. I've been able to locate, the date and time should be

sync'd with Windows during the next start.. but this doesn't appear to be happening.  Any ideas?

thanks

Thanks for using Workstation. Could you let me know that whether you checked the "Synchronize guest time with host" option in Virtual Machine Settings -> Options -> VMware Tools?

Hi Tracy... Thanks for your reply.  Yes I've checked.... the only options there are related to VMWare tools updates.... i.e, manual, auto etc.
