How Install Workstation on Windows Server Host

A few VMWare Workstation versions back I tried to install it on Windows Server but that was not allowed.    Can you install Workstation on Windows server?    If you can not do it out of the box is there a way around that?

Workstation 16.1.2

Windows server 2019

So I setup a guest 2019 server and installed workstation on that and it appears to work.

Feeling confident about host 2019 with workstation 16.    I just remember a few/many years

back when the workstation install blocked itself unless it was windows desktop

vs server.    Maybe that has changed.    Next hurdle is the 219V intel nic....
