Host OS Clone

Is it possible to clone a host OS ( Win XP Pro ) ? I'd like to clone my host OS to make it a Guest OS for backup and transportability to other physical machines.

Sure that should be possible.

You should look into programs like Symantec Ghost or Acronis true image.

If you want open source you could give clonezilla, ping or G4U a try. (I can recommend clonezilla)

The most important thing is to have the same mass storage controller on the the target machine.

If that is required do NOT use Converter - better use Ghost or Acronis as already mentioned
