HiDPI (3200x1880) and VMWare Workstation on Windows 8.1

Hi!

I have a new Dell XPS15 with a screen resolution of 3200x1880. VMWare Workstation works but the VMWare icons (bottom of the window) are drawn very small... also it seems that there is no way to enable a "Retina" feature to scale the client-OSs to use more pixels (for example use 2x2 physical pixels for 1x1 logical pixel.

Is there a solution to have a better HiDPI experience in VMWare Workstation?

I believe there is no solution from VMware in the moment. It depends of the used guest-os which features are available with HiDPI resolutions. Try to use scaling inside the guest.
