Hi, I just downloaded vmware workstation and its giveing me an error?

Hi, I'm running windows 8.1 and just install vmware workstation and every time I open a operating system with it I get this message.

vmware workstation and hyper-v are not comparable.Remove the hyper-v role from the system before running vmware workstation.

How do I do that when I cant find it in uninstall programs. Please help
