Help with activating Windows Server 2008 Enterprise R2

I can successfully install Windows Server 2008 Enterprise R2 under Fusion or Workstation, but when it comes time to activate, for Fusion and/or Workstation, it says the key is wrong.

In both cases Easy install for VMWare was NOT selected.

Help and insights for getting the VM to accept my license key?

Assuming you have Internet Connectivity then sorry but I really don't see WPA (Windows Product Activation) as a VMware issue since VMware has no control over the WPA process and it is solely a Microsoft Technology and you should contact Microsoft if you're having issues with WPA.

Assume I do NOT have Internet connectivity. We you saying Windows activation requires Internet connectivity?

No over the Internet is not the only way so have a look at: Windows Server 2008 R2 Product Activation

The bottom line is WPA is a Microsoft issue not a VMware issue so I'd suggest you contact Microsoft.
