Help With Wireless Network

I've installed Linux Mint onto one of my virtual machines. I am connected to the internet but when I view my connection it shows a wired connection not a wireless connection. Issue being I've got a couple home networks I'm testing and I want to be able to chose another wireless network. Is this possible or does VMWare Workstation just go off of what network my Windows OS is using?

The virtual NIC in the VM will correspond to a unique wireless network visible (and connected) to the host.  So, you would have to browse on the host and select the appropriate network and then use the virtual network editor to associate the vNIC to this connection.  If you want to use multiple networks (or have the option) you will have to create multiple virtual NICs for the VM and then associate each of them with the desired wireless connection on the host.

Hello.

Use the Virtual Network Editor to control these associations.  You can find the Virtual Network Editor in the Start Menu in the VMware directory.

Good Luck!
