Hard disk stored in multiple files

Hello,

I'm using VMware Workstation 11 for my Windows 2012R2 server, but instead of 1 vmdk for it's C drive it has multiple, how can I make it as one, as I need to convert it to a VHD file?

Thanks

It was a setting when you created the vm. If you export the vm to an ovf it will conslidate that vmdk file

You can use e.g. the vmware-vdiskmanager command line utility that's being installed with VMware Workstation to clone a virtual disk to the monolithic sparse .vmdk format.

Please remember that this will create a clone, i.e. require sufficient disk free space.
