HELP - How to Auto-Power On/Off a VM (GUEST OS) whenever the HOST reboots

I have a Windows XP Pro HOST computer running VMWare 6.5 Workstation (Windows Server 2003 STD as GUEST OS) as a test platform for some applications.

As a result of various security polocies (Updates, Patches, Virus Scans, Spyware, etc...), our computers are automatically rebooted several times / week including my HOST computer which is running a VMWare Workstation.

I wanted to know if it is possible with maybe a script or something that would automatically shutdown/poweroff the GUEST OS / VMWare Machine prior to the HOST rebooting. And then, when the HOST has rebooted, would automatically power on the VMWare Machine.

There is no direct way of doing it in WS. It is very well possible in VMware Server - http://www.petri.co.il/automatically-power-up-vmware-server-guest-os.htm
