Apologies if this is handled elsewhere. I couldn't find anything through search.
Yesterday I updated a pretty old XP virtual guest with the latest VMware tools. After the update, resizing the VM window did not cause the guest to resize its display. I can't swear with complete certainty that it did before, however.
Yesterday also the Win7 VM I use was working fine, with the latest tools. Last night's big Windows update caused the guest not to recognize that the tools were installed, so I ran repair. Now it also doesn't resize the display when I resize the VM window.
Am I doing something dumb here (like disabling a display sync switch somewhere), or did guest window resizing just break?

If I'm reading it right, the tools are 9.2.2.18018
