I have a virtual machine that has developed a mouse driver issue - that feels like a hardware fault.
The left mouse button has stoped working. if you go into mouse properties and switch buttons the right button acts like left but the left button stilll continues not to respond (hense hardware feel).
Guest OS is XP sp2
Host OS is Windows 7 Home premium running on a laptop with usb mouse and alps pointing pad (both exhibit same problem)
Host & Various other Guest OS not suffering same symptons
I am using workstation 7.1.3 build-324285
I have done the usual thing of uninstall all guest mouse drivers and rebooting to no improvement.
usually with this sort of thing you replace the old with a new peice of hardware and hey presto life goes on but with virtual thats not quite so easy due to the translation, etc.
Any thoughts please?.
