Growing pains - change the environment

Greetings,

I have been the solo developer here at the company for many years.   We have just added an additional developer.   We use Workstation Pro 15.5 to develop custom applications for our products.  Each developer has a unique install of Workstation Pro installed on their computer and has created several VM's.    We have just added (2) testers that will need to access VM's for testing applications.

What would be a good approach to centralizing the created VM's so a user can access them (for development or testing) without copying the VM's all over the place.

Ideas greatly appreciated (will have to live in office space area as physical devices will need to be added for testing custom hardware.  So, no 300 ft serial runs to the server room.  LOL).

thanks,

Darryl

Set up a server running ESXi? The free version would probably suffice for your usage, and you can then use either Workstation to access those VMs, or even just use the web client and the (free) Remote Console.
