Group policy inheritance from Domain

Hi there

If a Computer had been on a Domain that had GPOs applied to it, then that computer was then converted to a VM, would the Domain GPOs still be applied?

Yes, they should be.

The reason I ask is, I want to create a network where all the computers arent on a Domain, but came from a Domain.

I dont want to have to go through the process of exporting/importing GPOs and then re-creating the Domain environment virtually.

I will test and see what happens

I came accross something like this . all you need to do is remove the vm from domain and re add it .
