Grab mouse input when cursor enters VM window

Hi!

I'am using the VMware® Workstation 15 Pro in Win 10 1809. The guest Os is Ubuntu 18.04.2

When the mouse enters the VM I have to first click for it to be captured. This means each time the VM looses focus, I have to click at least twice to do a simple task.
The mouse release however is working as expected.

I already checked the option under Edit -> Preference -> Input (Automatically grab & ungrab the mouse).

VMware tools are also installed.

Fullscreen/Widow Modes don't make any difference. (I'am using a 2 monitor setup)

Is there a fix for this? Virtual-Box can do this without any problem!

PS:

I saw there was another 1 year old thread with the same issue. But unfortunately it is unanswered: Re: Grab mouse input when cursor enters VM window

Hi!,

I did some more tests , and found out the problem exists only in a dual monitor setup. When I switch to a single monitor everything works as expected.

I usually have two monitors, and my VM is running full screen on one of them.

Can someone maybe reproduce this?

Same problem here with Workstation 16 Pro, multiple monitor setup. Please fix this.
