Finding shared folder in Win10

Hi,

I use Workstation Pro 16, my host system is Ubuntu 20.04 and guest system is Win10. I would like to use shared folder feature. I set it in the proferences but when entering guest system (Win10) I cannot see any vmware-based shared folder. I can see the shared folders from my private-network neigbouring PCs, but the shared folder from vmware host system is not visible/detected. Any idea?

it should be from This Computer page from windows explorer. I'm assuming vmware-tools is running in win 10.

How can I verify that vmware-tools is installed/running in Win10? In wmare menu, the item "VM -> Install VMware Tools ..." is shadowed, i.e. not accessible.

I checked the vmware-tools and found it that it was not installed. The workstation was not able to detect the ISO image automatically. I had to do that manually. Not, it works!!! Thanks.
