Find out who is connected to Windows 7

Is there some kind of command or anything that will tell me who is logged onto a windows 7 virtual computer?  I know for a physical computer I can use the command of "qwinsta /server:Computername

whats the difference between a remote physical machine and a VM ?
for qwinsta there is no difference - so it should work as well

Hi Continuum,

Thanks for the reply.  on all the VM I tried that command I get "Error 5 getting sessionnames. Error [5]: Access is denied"  and I have no clue why?  is there something I have to enable??

Thanks

I found the answer to my question it was a Microsoft problem.  To be able to see who is log onto a windows 7 virtual you have to make a registry change. It is: HKey_Local_Machine\system\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server:

AllowRemoteRPC=dword:1

fDenyTSConnections=dword:0

reboot the virtual

do the command of: qwinsta /server:ComputerName
