Fat virtual machine

Hi, I have a problem with my virtual machine

My virtual machine's allocated is 64GB

In realty it use 12GB, but virtual machine's folder is 33GB :smileyconfused:

I read about SDelete.exe i try use it and now I have a folder of 64GB :smileyshocked: (luckily I have a backup of virtual machine)

So, how can do for delete that unused space?

I tryed to compact virtual machine but i get "On of parameters supplied is invalid"

I'm new in the world of wmware so help me step by step :smileylaugh:

I Have only workstation 10 last upgrade

Have you tried to Clean up Disks from Workstation? Please refers to VMware Workstation Documentation Center for the detail steps.

Yes I tried but I get message "no data to clean"

Hi, forna91

your guest os should be NTFS file system and the virtual disk space should be preallocated, then you can use "clean up" to find more space.
