I have an OS running on VMware Player that has to run with NAT networking, I'm not sure why but it doesn't get full access to external networking in bridge mode and I've been instructed to run it in NAT mode. I would like to scan all of the ports of this OS with a physically external computer. Is this possible? It doesn't seem possible since you can only forward one port at a time, and I don't want to set this up for all 32,000 ports (or whatever the number is) one at a time. Anything that Virtual Network Editor can do to make this possible?
I realize that this doesn't really have anything specifically to do with VMware Workstation, this is really a Virtual Network Editor question and since Virtual Network Editor doesn't have its own forum there seems to be more Virtual Network Editor posts here than any other single forum.
