Exported Windows 10 .ova VM from Synology with VMware compatibility does not boot in VMware Workstat

Hello. In Synology DSM 7.1 Virtual Machine Manager exported Windows 10 .ova VM with VMware compatibility option during the export. However, after importing the .ova in VMware workstation 17 pro it does not boot up. Right after starting the VM Windows  shows blue screen with a message "Windows ran into a problem". In VMware Workstation I tried converting this VM hardware compatibility to various hardware versions, 17, 16, 15, 11, ESXi 7, 6.5 but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions what I can do to get this VM to work in VMware workstation?

Regards

Check the VM settings: In VMware Workstation, check the settings of the imported VM. Ensure that the hardware settings (such as CPU, RAM, and storage) match the original configuration of the VM when it was running on Synology DSM 7.1

Can you boot the Windows 10 in safe mode?

I encountered the same issue, got a blue screen right after boot up. After turn on Virtualization Engine (Virtual Machine Settings -> Hardware -> Processors) with only Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT or AMD-V/RVI selected, Win10 finally booted up normally. I'm using AMD Ryzen 3900X. Hope this helps.
