I have message that my system is out of space. Vm Workstation 16. What files can I erase? Obviously there have been files building up within VMware over time. The applications I run do not save documents. Any thoughts?

Is the message from your HOST OS that the computer's hard disk is running out of space? Or is it from the GUEST OS inside the virtual machine?
What are the host OS and version, and the guest OS and version? What exact version of Workstation 16?
