Exception 0xc0000005 (access violation) after Windows11 update

Hi Team,

Using Workstation Pro 15.5.7 build-17171714 on Windows 11. Using both Windows and Linux guest hosts. Everything working fine (for many weeks/months) before Windows update, rebooted after windows upate, now getting Exception 0xc0000005 (access violation) has occurred when I attempt to start any of my VMs. Tried uninstall/reinstall of Workstation but have same issue. (According to "Turn Windows features on or off" - I <don't> have Hyper-V switched on). Enclosing VM support zip files.  Any ideas greatfully received :slightly_smiling_face: ?

VMware doesn't support Windows 11 as a host operating system for Workstation 15. Wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft has done something that would break Workstation.

Have you tried Workstation 16.2.x or 17, both of which are supported?

Thanks for the clarification @Technogeezer :ok_hand:

I did try v17 PRO, worked perfectly. I'll be using it to justify an upgrade :slightly_smiling_face:

Many Thanks!
