Error while installing VMware Workstation

Hello all,

Is there any way to fix this error while installing VMware workstation "There is a problem with the Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

I have disabled my antivirus, remove all temp files and even uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 but still getting the error!!

Hi,

It is not a vmware workstation problem but a Windows Installer problem. Try updating the windows installer package from windows update.

When performing the installation do it with a user who has administrative rights to the computer.
