Error when installing vmware workstation on Microsoft Surface Pro X

Hello all,

Please help. I have a user who's using a surface pro X and wants to install vmware workstation 15.5.6 on it.

We were unable to complete the installation due to the error: "Unsupport CPU detected" (see attached images of error)

Also attached are the specs of the Surface Pro X.

I've looked around and didn't find much information that states if vmware does or does not support this CPU.

Any help is much appreciated!

VMware Workstation is not supported in ARM processors so you won’t be able to install it.

Do you know where I can get more information regarding vmware not supporting ARM processor?

The link you provided doesn't mention anything about ARM processors. Unless I must've misread...

The link mentions CPU architectures which ARE supported. It doesn’t mention all of the ones that aren’t supported which is why you don’t see ARM listed.
