Error connecting a Logitech webcam.. Help !

The details:

VMware® Workstation 16 Pro
16.1.0 build-17198959

Host:
Windows 10 Pro:
Version: 2004
OS Build: 19041.685
AMD MOBO, AMD CPU,64GB memory.

Client:
Windows 10 Pro:
Version: 2004
OS Build: 19041.685
8 cores 16GB memory

Camera:
Logitech Camera HD Pro webcam HD 920

Details:
When I try to connect the camera to the VM
a message pops up on the bottom of the VMware window:
The connection for the USB device 'Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920' was unsuccessful. Driver error.
I need to fix this. Can I get the log to show a bit more than "Driver error" ? This is useless.
What is "Error 4" anyway?

The VMWare log:

Try connecting the webcam to a physical USB 2.0 port on the computer and also set the VM-Settings-USB Controller Compatibility to USB 2.0

Ray, thank you for the input. However, nothing worked.
So, as a last ditch effort I tried plugging in to my computer's USB3.1 Gen 2 port.
Guess what ? It worked !
I tested it with the camera app and it looks fine.

So I guess 3.1 gen 1 was the issue ?

Thank you and I hope this helps people with a similar problem.
