Error 1303 Install VMware Tools

I am running VMware Workstation 8.0.1 on windows 7 sp1 (64 bit) and when I install VMware Tools in a virtual machine with windows xp sp3, is giving the following message:

Error 1303.The installer has insufficient privileges to
access this directory: C:\Arquivos de
programas\VMware\VMware Tools. The installation
cannot continue. Log as an administrator or contact
your system administrator

"When I run VMware Workstation as an administrator".
Can anyone give me a hint?

I encountered the same error on Win 7 64-bit when trying to upgrade to VMware Workstation v8.0.5. I ran the installer executable as administrator but still received this message.
